Who runs DivineAdda
DivineAdda is an independent Indian website run by the DivineAdda team, based in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. We are a small group of writers, editors and developers who grew up with the stories of the Ramayana and Mahabharata, the festival calendar of our families and the daily rhythm of prayer and mantra. We started DivineAdda because we wanted a single, trustworthy place where anyone — whether they are deeply devout or simply curious — can read about Sanatan Dharma without clutter, sensationalism or fear-based messaging.
Our mission
Our mission is to make traditional Hindu knowledge easy to understand and pleasant to return to every day. We want to preserve the meaning behind rituals and festivals, retell the great stories faithfully, and help readers build a gentle daily practice. We avoid exaggerated promises and we try to present differing regional traditions respectfully, because Hindu practice varies a great deal from one family and region to another.
What you will find here
- Hindu stories retold from the Puranas, the Ramayana, the Mahabharata and folk traditions.
- Mantras with meaning, pronunciation guidance and when they are traditionally chanted.
- Festival guides covering dates, tithi, rituals, regional customs and significance.
- Horoscope readings for all twelve signs, written for reflection and spiritual insight.
- Blog articles on vrat, puja, symbolism and Vedic astrology concepts.
- An AI spiritual assistant that answers questions about scripture, rituals and astrology.
- A small shop of spiritual products, when the store is open.
How our content is researched
Our writers work from traditional sources: the Puranas (such as the Bhagavata, Shiva and Markandeya Puranas), the epics, the Vedic and Upanishadic texts, the Bhagavad Gita, and established Panchang calculations for festival dates. Where traditions disagree we say so, and where a story has several versions we note the one we are following. Every article is reviewed by an editor before publishing and corrected when readers point out mistakes. You can read the full process in our editorial policy.
An honest note about our AI assistant
The DivineAdda AI assistant is a helpful aid for exploring questions, finding verses and understanding concepts. It is not a substitute for a learned scholar, a priest, a doctor, a lawyer or a financial advisor. AI answers can contain errors, so please verify important information and consult a qualified person for decisions about your health, money or family. See our disclaimer for details.
