Privacy Policy

Last updated:

This policy explains what personal data DivineAdda (Jaipur, Rajasthan, India) collects, why, and the choices you have.

1. Data we collect

  • Account details — name, email address, and sign-in information when you create an account or sign in with Google.
  • Birth details — date, time and place of birth you enter to generate a kundli, matchmaking report or personalised assistant answers.
  • Saved items — mantras you save, kundlis and reports you generate, and assistant conversations linked to your account.
  • Order and membership details — items or plans purchased, billing name, email, phone, address for delivery, amounts and payment status.
  • Contact form messages — your name, email, subject and message.
  • Analytics and device data — pages viewed, approximate location, browser and device type, collected through cookies and similar technologies.

2. How we use your data

We use your data to provide the features you ask for (generating kundlis, saving mantras, answering assistant questions), to process payments and deliver orders, to respond to messages, to keep the site secure, to understand which content is useful, and — only where you have agreed — to show relevant advertising. We do not sell your personal data.

3. Payments

Payments for memberships, reports and shop orders are processed by CCAvenue, our payment gateway. Your card, UPI and net-banking details are entered on and handled by CCAvenue; they are never stored on DivineAdda's servers. We receive only the order reference, amount and payment status.

4. Storage and security

Data is stored with reputable cloud providers using encryption in transit, access controls and row-level permissions so that only you (and authorised staff where needed for support) can access your records. No method of transmission is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and remember your preferences, analytics cookies (Google Analytics) to understand usage, and, once enabled, advertising cookies. You can accept or reject non-essential cookies in our cookie banner and learn more in our cookie policy.

6. Advertising

Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet. Users may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings (https://adssettings.google.com).

You can learn more about how Google uses data when you use our partners' sites or apps at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

7. Third-party services

We rely on trusted providers to run the site: cloud hosting and database services, Google sign-in, Google Analytics, CCAvenue for payments, an email delivery service for account and order emails, AI model providers that process assistant questions, and an astrology calculation service for kundli and reports. Each processes data only as needed to provide its service and under its own privacy terms.

8. Data retention

We keep account data while your account is active. Order and payment records are retained for as long as required by Indian tax and accounting law (generally up to 8 years). Contact messages are kept for up to 2 years. Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics settings (14 months). When data is no longer needed it is deleted or anonymised.

9. Your rights

You may request access to the personal data we hold about you, correction of inaccurate data, deletion of your account and data, and withdrawal of consent. To make a request, email contact@divineadda.com with the subject "Privacy request" or use our contact form. We respond within 30 days.

10. India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act

We process personal data in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act). We collect data for specified, lawful purposes, rely on your consent or legitimate uses permitted by the Act, and honour your rights as a Data Principal, including the right to grievance redressal. Grievances can be sent to our contact email above; you may also approach the Data Protection Board of India.

11. Children's privacy

DivineAdda is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it. Users under 18 should use paid features only with a parent or guardian's consent.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services or the law change. The "Last updated" date above shows the latest revision, and significant changes will be highlighted on the site.
